## Notice

JBG is seeking the provision of Hospitality Training Services that will lead to participating trainees achieving qualifications that are recognised and valued by employers within the relevant sector(s). The majority of participating trainees will be unemployed people seeking to become 'job ready' and gain sustainable employment.

### Lot Information

Catering Training Services

The provision shall include, but is not limited to: Introduction to Professional Cookery (bespoke); BIIAB Level 1 Award in Essentials of Catering (or equivalent); and BIIAB Level 1 Award in Introduction to Employment in the Hospitality Industry (or equivalent). As required by JBG, the supplier shall also provide bespoke training that is not recognised by an external awarding body (though the supplier shall, at minimum, provide trainees with in-house certification to recognise completion of the training). For additional details and further information, including volumes and Key Performance Indicators, Bidders should refer to the Invitation to Tender document.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: The contract is expected to run for 2 years initially. JBG will have an option to extend the contract for a period of up to 2 additional years (on a 1 year + 1 year basis). Therefore the maximum contract duration is 4 years.

Customer Service/Front of House Training Services

The provision shall include, but is not limited to: City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Barista Skills (or equivalent); BIIAB Award in Beer and Cellar Quality (or equivalent); BIIAB Level 1 Award in Introduction to Employment in the Hospitality Industry (or equivalent); Worldhost Customer Service Award (or equivalent); and BIIAB Scottish Award in Customer & Drinks Service (or equivalent). As required by JBG, the supplier shall also provide bespoke training that is not recognised by an external awarding body (though the supplier shall, at minimum, provide trainees with in-house certification to recognise completion of the training).
