## Summary

NHS Lothian is conducting a public procurement process titled "NHS Lothian- Income Maximisation in Midlothian." Focused on the health sector, the procurement is taking place in Midlothian, UK. The current stage is the 'Award' stage, with the contract having been signed on 1st February 2018, following an open procedure to solicit proposals for community-led activities aimed at reducing poverty and enhancing community engagement. The contract value is £170,000. Key stakeholders include NHS Lothian and Penicuik Citizens Advice Bureau, the awarded supplier, which is tasked with delivering essential support to families and young people in the area.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in community outreach, social support services, and financial counselling, to expand their operations within the health improvement sector. Companies that can demonstrate an ability to implement programmes addressing income maximisation and poverty reduction, while engaging local populations, would be particularly well-suited to compete for similar contracts.
