## Summary

Renfrewshire Council is currently seeking multiple training providers through an open procurement process titled "Provision of External Accredited Vocational Training". This programme, part of the services category, aims to deliver accredited vocational qualifications for both unemployed and employed residents of the Renfrewshire area, particularly targeting those aged 16 to 64 facing barriers to employment. The tender has a total value of GBP 160,000 and is structured into eight distinct lots across various sectors, including Agriculture/Forestry, Horticulture, Business/IT, and Health & Safety. The submission deadline for bids is set for 3 November 2017, with the process being managed electronically via the public tenders platform.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in vocational training and education, especially those specialising in skills development across the mentioned sectors. Both small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and larger training organisations may find suitable bidding opportunities within different lots, as at least three suppliers will be appointed in each category. Businesses should highlight their capability to provide tailored training, a strong understanding of community needs in Renfrewshire, and demonstrate how they will collaborate with local recruitment and employability partners to enhance skills among residents.
