## Summary

NHS Lothian is currently involved in a procurement process titled "NHS Lothian- Children & Young People's Mental Health in Midlothian", aimed at enhancing mental health outcomes for young individuals in the Midlothian area. The procurement is classified under the health services industry and is being conducted through an open procedure. The deadline for bids is set for 15 November 2017, with the contract award period commencing shortly thereafter. The project has a total budget of £180,000 and requires that bidders maintain a delivery base within Midlothian to effectively execute the project.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those in the health and social care sectors, as well as community organisations focusing on mental health. Companies that specialise in delivering community-based interventions, early support services, or health improvement strategies would be ideally positioned to compete. The emphasis on addressing health inequalities and improving social capital creates potential avenues for small and medium enterprises, as well as partnerships and consortia that can showcase collaborative methods to improve community well-being.
