## Summary

The Aberdeen City Council, located in Aberdeen, UK, has recently completed a public procurement process titled "Link Workers Resource." This procurement falls under the services category and was conducted through an open procedure. The tender was aimed at procuring at least 16 full-time equivalent (FTE) Link Workers for 30 General Practices in the area, split into four lots based on local health needs. The tender process included an award stage where contracts were signed on 11 January 2018, with a significant contract value of £2,800,000.

This procurement presents a notable opportunity for businesses, particularly those operating in the health and social care sector, to engage in local community services. Companies specializing in workforce provision, mental health support, or community health services might find themselves well-positioned to compete for these roles. The staged approach to implementing the roles across local practices allows for flexibility and provides an opportunity for businesses to tailor their offerings to meet specific locality needs within Aberdeen.
