### Lot Information

Lot 1

Orkney now attracts on average 140 cruise ships per annum, with the number of port calls for 2018 season not expected to exceed 150, this translates to approximately 130,000 passengers and 40,000 crew. Orkney Islands Council invites tenders for the provision of a Cruise Ship Welcome and Information Service, offering general tourism and travel advise to arriving cruise ship passengers and crew. In addition to the Welcome and Information Services the Contractor will be required to open and close the Kirkwall Travel Centre during the Contract period.
