All Contractors bidding will be suitably experienced, and must be a regulated member of the National Association of Scaffolding Contractors or an equivalent organisation. This scaffolding contract is required for the maintenance and emergency service provision of Council premises and Housing stock, the type of work includes, roughcasting, chimney repairs, fascia and soffit renewals. Scaffolding will also be required to facilitate the installation of solar PV panels which will be roof mounted, the vast majority of which will be on two storey dwellings. The Stirling housing stock is spread over both urban and rural areas, the vast majority (80-85%) of which is within a 6 mile radius of Stirling city centre. This contract has been prepared on the basis of the SBCC/JCT Measured Term Contract (MTC/SCOT) 2011. Construction Design Management (CDM) 2015.
