## Summary

The procurement process for the "Radiotherapy, Superficial X-Ray Therapy Unit" is managed by the Greater Glasgow Health Board, located in Edinburgh, UK. This tender falls under the health industry category and is currently in the Award stage, with an award having already been made to a contractor for the replacement of radiotherapy equipment at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. The procurement was conducted through an open procedure, and it originally opened for bids on 30th November 2017, with a tender period that ended on the same day.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in medical equipment and services, particularly those that can provide turnkey solutions for healthcare organisations. Companies that have a proven track record in supplying radiotherapy equipment, possess the necessary insurance cover, and meet the turnover requirements of at least £400,000 annually for the past three years would be well-suited to compete in this sector.
