## Summary

The Scottish Government has awarded a contract titled "Award of Digital Ecosystem Capabilities Catalogue". This procurement process falls under the services industry, specifically focusing on Information Communication Technology. The project aims to create a prototype for an ecosystem catalogue, addressing various user needs and system quality attributes as identified through prior research. The contract was formally signed on 27 November 2017, and the buying organisation is headquartered in Edinburgh. This award marks the completion of the tender stage in the procurement process, which saw a total of four bids submitted.

This opportunity presents a promising avenue for businesses engaged in service design, digital services, and public sector contracts, particularly those with expertise in IT solutions and consultancy. Companies able to demonstrate experience in user-centred design and ecosystem analysis will be particularly well-positioned to compete for similar future contracts within the public sector ecosystem. Engaging with such tenders can lead to substantial business growth and an expansion of service offerings tailored to governmental needs.

Reach out to organisations in the Scottish public sector, and within Scottish Government, to identify, qualify and quantify digital ecosystem capabilities. Build an ecosystem capabilities catalogue for internal publication that will be used in alpha and beta stages of project, with a view to potentially opening it up to delivery partners. This will allow us to understand the ecosystem landscape in these organisations and prototype the ecosystem catalogue service.
