The overarching aim of the service is to provide a high standard of independent advocacy as defined in the service specification, which respects the autonomy, independence, freedoms and dignity of people ensuring that their views and opinions are accurately communicated and understood.. In addition, funding will be made available for the provision of advocacy services for older people living in the community, adults with a physical disability, including acquired brain injury.
