The project is to be financed through the Glasgow City Region City Deal and the release of funds is subject to acceptance of a Full Business Case (FBC), including the preferred contractor's price, by the City Deal Cabinet. Consideration of the Council's FBC is programmed for 19th January 2018. Assuming agreement to proceed, it is envisaged that the successful bidder will be appointed by 2nd February 2018. All bidders will be advised at this time. Provided that the City Deal Cabinet agrees on 19th January 2018 to the release project funding then the contract award will be made by 2nd February 2018, or sooner if possible.
