## Summary

The procurement process involves the Scottish Rural College (SRUC) as the primary buying organisation, seeking tenders for the supply of Agricultural Fertiliser & Lime. This initiative is categorised under the education and research industry and is located in Edinburgh, UK. The tender process, currently at the Award stage, was initiated on 5th March 2018, with the framework agreement set for an initial duration of two years, allowing for extensions of an additional two 12-month periods. This open procedure contract encompasses two lots: one for Agricultural Fertilisers and another for Lime, suggesting a comprehensive sourcing strategy for essential agricultural materials.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses engaged in the supply of agricultural products, particularly those focusing on fertilisers and lime. Companies with relevant industry certifications, such as the Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme (FIAS), BASIS Registration, or FACTS Qualification, will be particularly well-suited to compete. The selection criteria favour suppliers who demonstrate a solid financial standing and the necessary operational capacity, making this an ideal opportunity for established suppliers as well as new entrants who meet the accreditation requirements.
