Lot 1

On 10 October 2017 the First Minister of Scotland made an announcement committing to set up a publicly-owned not-for-profit energy company by the end of the current Parliament. In accordance with public procurement rules, and taking account of project timescales, the Scottish Government has appointed Ernst and Young, through the Consultancy One procurement framework, to provide an independent commercial review of the information gathered and prepared to date. If the Scottish Government needs to procure future advice in support of the Publicly Owned Energy Company this will be procured, through competition, separately from this contract. Such procurements might include competitions advertised on the Public Contracts Scotland Portal (and OJEU as appropriate) or competitions under pre-existing frameworks.. The total cost will be between GBP200k and GBP250k. Awarded under the Organisational Strategy lot of the ConsultancyOne Framework
