SCSL runs an overnight railway service between London and various Scottish destinations under a Franchise Agreement, awarded by the Scottish Ministers, for a fifteen (15) year term, which commenced on 31st March 2015. The franchise services are currently undergoing refurbishment and modernisation, with the aim of improving the quality of the service and experience that SCSL provides to its guests. ### Lot Information Lot 1 SCSL runs an overnight railway service between London and various Scottish destinations under a Franchise Agreement, awarded by the Scottish Ministers, for a fifteen (15) year term, which commenced on 31st March 2015. The franchise services are currently undergoing refurbishment and modernisation, with the aim of improving the quality of the service and experience that SCSL provides to its guests. SCSL currently has approximately 120 guest facing staff who require uniforms which are distinctly Scottish, refined and reflect an upmarket hotel concierge aesthetic. The uniform designs have been developed, as set out in the tender documents and the use of Harris Tweed in these designs is in keeping with these considerations.. Where applicable, Bidders will be required to source the materials for the manufacture of the uniforms from an accredited Harris Tweed cloth supplier to ensure continuity of design and appearance with the current uniforms in circulation, and pricing shall be proposed by the Bidder in accordance with these requirements.
