The service provided by suppliers will include the below stages.1st MailingAll qualifying households (57,171 properties) will receive a letter informing them of the new service and to register/pay for the new service with an anticipated start date of 1 April 2018. (1st Mailing)2nd MailingCustomers who subscribe to the service will be issued a covering letter and Garden Waste Permit to attach to the back of their brown lidded bin. The 1st batch of these packs will be delivered to householders by Friday 23 March 2018. It is anticipated, given other Local Authorities' experience that approx. 40% of eligible house holders will apply before 1 April 2018 with the majority of the remaining 10% in the subsequent months following thereafter.Weekly MailingsThere would be subsequent weekly mailings which is likely to subside after the peak growing season is over. There will be a requirement to re-issue permits as a result of lost/stolen or damaged bins or new residents of new build properties.Further details regarding service specification can be found within the attached Specification of Mailings document.
