The provider will require to evidence and demonstrate proven experience in the support and management of people who present with significant challenging behaviours and will have an established infrastructure that can deliver bespoke interventions that are flexible and will accommodate the unpredictable needs of this individual. This may include non traditional forms of interventions including supine restraint. The provider should be able to demonstrate other forms of interventions such as redirection that will minimise the need to utilise a restraint model and which will improve the quality of life and reduce risk for the service user(s).
