## Summary

Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd is set to initiate a public procurement process titled "CMAL0182 Proposed Infrastructure Works at Uig, Lochmaddy and Tarbert." The procurement falls under the transport industry category and involves significant construction works at three harbours in the "Skye Triangle" region, namely Uig, Lochmaddy, and Tarbert. This project, with an estimated value of £50 million, is currently in the planning stage, with a supplier information event scheduled for 24th January 2018 at Hampden Park, Glasgow. Interested parties are encouraged to register for the event and to keep an eye on communications regarding the procurement timeline.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for construction firms and businesses specialising in civil engineering, particularly those experienced in harbour and marine infrastructure projects. With the expectation that the successful bidder will engage with the local supply chain, companies that are well-versed in constructing large-scale works such as dredging, pier construction, and marine services upgrades will find this tender highly relevant. Suppliers interested in contributing to the local economy and expanding their portfolio should consider participating in this collaborative project involving multiple local authorities.
