Tenderers are invited to offer proposals for Performance Swimming analysis systems for swimming based at the Aberdeen Sports Village (ASV). The ASV specialised pool environment offers a unique opportunity to provide technical assessment and bespoke quantitative and qualitative analysis of swimming behaviour including; - Stroke analysis - including accurate objective measures, technical observation, evaluation, feedback and modification - Start & turn analysis - including accurate objective measures, technical observation evaluation, feedback and modification - Race modelling and comparison - Immediate, comprehensible and useable coach and athlete feedback - a system that is useable in an area of the pool that enables coaches to utilise the system as part of their coaching process and enables athletes to view any feedback without having to leave the pool environment - Appropriate data storage, accessible by coaches/athletes and manageable for longitudinal study

'Free swim' Kinematic analysis

Kinematic analysis to deliver; - Technical observation above and below the water (utilising 13 existing fixed portals embedded within the pool structure) - *Time synchronised multiple camera system - 25m and 50m of sagittal view underwater with adequate field of view to ensure no sections are excluded and the ability to stitch together seamless 25m and 50m footage of a swimmer - A minimum 16 camera system, providing full sagittal view underwater coverage of 50m pool; underwater frontal view of start and turns end (including view to cover turn rotation and wall contact); sagittal and coronal view of starts end; and coronal view of turns end; Multi plane capture and analysis of starts and turns (sagittal, frontal and coronal plane, & dorsal plane - behind to be considered) - Orthogonal views (side, behind, above) of block and entry points and tracking views (from head-on, side and above) from breakout to free-swim (i.e. first 2-3 strokes) - Tracking view (from head on, side and above) from Breakout to Turn with the goal of providing the opportunity to view the swimmer from any angle at any point in the pool with the ability to build a virtual 3D qualitative 'picture' of a swimmer over 50m

'Starts and turns' Kinetic analysis

Kinetic analysis of starts and turns delivered through; Overhead views Zoom capability for head-on underwater camera - Instrumented force block and turn pad (triaxial force) - Multi plane capture and analysis of starts and turns (sagittal, frontal and coronal plane, & dorsal plane - behind to be considered) - Integrated video and kinetic system and provision for synchronised information - Integrated audible signal starts light visible to the cameras for accurate identification of start time and potential to integrate starting signal to system - Adjustment capability to the above water sagittal and dorsal cameras to allow for different heights and flight distances from starts - Ability to "overlay" - "draw" reference points / angles / identify key efficiency elements visually is important.
