The QMRI Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Facility is looking to increase its technological capabilities to keep up to date with user requirements and maintain our status as an advanced facility within the University, the wider academic field and with our commercial clients. The requirement is for a more powerful instrument than current facility equipment, capable of measuring a wider range of fluorescent markers, allowing more in depth analysis of samples and answering research questions which are currently beyond our scope. The instrument chosen has unique capabilities at the forefront of flow cytometry technology, and incorporates real-time spectral analysis of samples, massively increasing flexibility of flow cytometry panels.
