Stirling Council, as one of lead partners, in the Clackmannanshire & Stirling Alcohol & Drug Partnership (ADP), would like to invite applications from Third Party organisations to develop and deliver person-centred and recovery focussed customised provision to reduce the impact of substance use across Clackmannanshire and Stirling. The partnership recognises the challenges posed by Clackmannanshire and Stirling being very diverse areas. Parts of Clackmannanshire and Stirling have some of the most affluent and successful communities in Scotland with high incomes, good health and excellent quality of life. In relatively close proximity there are communities of concentrated deprivation where health statistics and the related impacts are some of the poorest in the country. The overarching aim of the ADP is to create an environment where recovery focussed services (both specialist and mainstream) support individuals, families and communities to reduce the impact of alcohol and/ or drug use. The ADP recognises that substance use is intrinsic to society and is an issue of health inequality. The Challenge Fund will provide funding opportunities with a flexible start date but a final end date not exceeding 31st December 2020.
