Lot 1

The Council has a large portfolio of vehicle restraint systems (safety barriers) in place of varying design and size throughout its geographical area.. . There is a requirement for the upgrade of vehicle restraint systems involving the removal of existing systems, repair of damaged sections and the supply and installation of new systems.The requirement is both programmed and reactive in nature, with a facility for both new installations and emergency repairs being required at all times. . It is the intention of the Council to create a Framework to meet the requirements and it is anticipated that approx. 500,000 (GBP) of work will be awarded in the first year of the Framework (work to be completed by 31st March 2019). There is however no guarantee of work in future years as this is dependant on budget availability.
