Lot 1

The current cell call system at the HMP & YOI Cornton Vale forms part of the old night sanitation system front-end located within the ECR. The cell call system is still in use as means for the prisoner to speak to a member of staff or to call for assistance, whereas the night sanitation system is no longer in use. The night sanitation front-end also controls a number of fire doors within the same houseblock. This project is to replace and upgrade the cell call system (as a stand-alone) which will be eventually relocated into the Gate as part of the same Works. The project will also integrate the fire doors electric locking with an existing Scada system located within the Gate.
