## Summary

The Forestry Commission, based in Edinburgh, UK, is conducting a procurement process titled "FW0046 - Building Surveying Services Scotland." This is an open tender initiative primarily aimed at the services sector, with an estimated annual expenditure of around GBP 100,000 for approximately 20-30 projects each year. The procurement process involves an initial framework agreement lasting for two years, with options for two additional 12-month extensions, at the discretion of the Forestry Commission. The tender period closes on 31 May 2018, and the services are required across all locations in Scotland, covering refurbishment, maintenance, and health and safety inspections.

This procurement presents a crucial opportunity for businesses specialising in building surveying, architecture, and engineering services, particularly Chartered Building Surveyors and other qualified professionals. Companies equipped to manage projects up to GBP 500,000 and with experience in feasibility studies and reactive works could find this tender advantageous for growth. Given the competitive nature of this tender, firms that can demonstrate strong technical and professional capabilities will be well-positioned to secure this contract and foster future collaborations with the Forestry Commission.
