## Summary

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body is planning a procurement for the "MSP Expenses Publication System," aimed at developing a software solution to publish and manage MSP expenses data transparently on the Scottish Parliament's website, allowing public access and analysis. Located in Edinburgh, the procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with a deadline for expressions of interest set for 8 May 2018. This tender presents an excellent opportunity for software development firms, particularly those with experience in public sector projects and data management systems. Companies capable of designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions will be well-suited to compete for this contract. By providing innovative and efficient systems that enhance transparency and public engagement, businesses can not only expand their portfolio but also contribute to the governance processes of the Scottish Parliament.

## Notice

The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) is seeking to gauge the number of potential service providers to either supply, or design and develop a software system to enable the publication of MSP expenses data through the Scottish Parliament's website, allowing the data to be filtered and interrogated by the public.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

The Scottish Parliament currently has a system in place to publish MSP Expenses on the Parliament's website. http://mspallowances.scottish.parliament.uk/ The current system uploads information from an Excel spreadsheet exported from our Travel and Expenses system and then allows this data to be cross-examined online by the public against a number of various criteria. The SPCB would like to establish if there are any suppliers with a system that can carry out this functionality, or who would be interested to design, develop and implement such a system for the Parliament. The supplier would also be required to host and maintain this system for the duration of the contract. Any suppliers able to provide this service, or wishing to request further information are invited to contact procurement@parliament.scot by 8 May 2018.
