## Notice

This procurement is for the appointment of a Contractor to undertake an Enabling & Strip-Out Works contract for the extension, renovation and refurbishment of Paisley Museum. The aim of Paisley Museum Re-Imagined is to provide a visitor experience of international quality, which tells the inspirational stories of Paisley, its heritage and its pattern. The transformation of the Paisley Museum is underpinned by a series of high level strategic project aims that will turn it into a: - Leading European museum - telling the story of Paisley as a pattern and a town. - Visitor destination drawing its audience from Scotland, UK and overseas. - Platforming institution for learning, skills development, innovation and research. - Community resource at the heart of Paisley's local life. The work will be carried out in the existing Grade A Paisley Museum and Library building, the Coats Observatory, Transit House, Grade C-listed Observatory House, and Philosophical Society building.

Interested Parties should refer to the document Entitled "PMR - Enabling Works General Scope of Works" attached to this notice for further information in regards to the requirements within this procurement process.. Interested Parties should be aware that the Council is currently undertaking procurement processes to appoint a Multi-Disciplinary Design Team, a Quantity Surveyor and a Project Management Consultant as part of the overall project. It is hoped that these appointments will be finalised in early - mid May 2018.
