You will also be able to join a presentation about the projects themselves, use of project bank accounts for Tram, Corporate Social Responsibilities in tendering and supplier development support.

The City of Edinburgh Council are tendering for two of its biggest works contracts this Summer 2018 and we would like to invite you, as potential manufacturers, suppliers and sub-contractors, to attend a one-off Meet the Bidder event to give you the opportunity to speak directly to the Bidders and put your stamp on the future of the city. This is a brilliant opportunity for your company to meet the organisations that are bidding on the GBP90m Edinburgh Tram York Place to Newhaven Project (Infrastructure and Systems) and for the GBP40m construction of the new Meadowbank Sports Centre, to potentially win their business and promote your innovative solutions. The meet the bidder event will bring together you; potential suppliers, with the organisations that have been shortlisted for two of Edinburgh Council's largest and most innovative contracts, together under one roof. Our aim is to provide an informative event with presentations throughout the day on both projects, project bank accounts, Corporate Social Responsibilities in tendering and supplier development support, as well as give you an opportunity to meet face to face with the bidders. The City of Edinburgh Council will also have their own stall where you will have the opportunity to discuss all of the Councils upcoming works contracts; as well as a dedicated stall for each project. The event will take place on Tuesday 8th May 2018, 13:00 - 17:00 at the Thistle Suite; West Stand, BT Murrayfield Stadium. Registration for the event is free.
