Lot 1

North Ayrshire Council requires a mandatory 'staying well' counselling service for staff delivering the Moving Forward Making Changes and Caledonian programmes and for the Women's and Children's Service Workers for the Caledonian System. This includes a staff total of 6 programme facilitators and 4 Womens and Childrens Service Workers. Service provider to deliver individual counselling sessions that will reflect on the individual's personal safety plan. This should involve discussion about their personal safety plan at every session. Service provider must deliver 3 sessions per year to the identified staff group of 10, amounting in a total of 30 sessions per year. Service provider to lead 2 practice based group sessions with Caledonian Women and Childrens Service Workers. These sessions should have a brief agenda to structure discussion but also have flexibility to respond to the issues identified by the staff group. Service provider to lead 2 practice based training sessions to a wider staff group (approximately 60 staff in total) across Ayrshire, supporting staff to understand vicarious trauma, how to identify warning signs and how to develop a 'staying well' plan which will increase resilience to vicarious trauma. The expectation is that this contract would run between 28th May 2018 and 31st March 2019 with an option to extend for a further two years until 31st March 2021. The service provider will not be expected to provide a venue for this service, this will be provided by the Partnership Delivery Team and Justice Social Work Staff at locations in Ayrshire convenient for staff. As part of the contractual arrangement there will be no requirement for the holding, processing or storing of information assets in relation to the service provided on your company's computing and networking systems. If at any time this becomes a requirement this must be discussed with the Council and not undertaken until agreements related to the security of your computing and networking systems have been mutually agreed.

Renewal: there is an option to extend annually for up to a further two years
