The work to the school comprises the removal of the existing identified electrical installations, provision of new panel boards, distribution boards, cable trunking systems and supports, general power and lighting outlets, light fittings and fixings, emergency lighting units and wiring, fire detection and alarm system, intruder alarm, emergency voice communication system and video door entry, disabled toilet alarms, induction loop system, period bell system, hand driers, insectaflash units, door bells, main supplies for heating and ventilation to plant, earthing and bonding, designation labels, identification and other associated works. The work also includes stripping out, replacement of IT cabling infrastructure and telephone installation. Contractor to liaise with all utilities and co-ordinate the work with asbestos removal contractor to ensure the project is completed within the contract period.
