The works generally comprise the full rewiring of individual dwellings but may on occasions consist of partial rewires and/or upgrades

Domestic Electrical Rewires

East Dunbartonshire Council (EDC) is seeking to appoint 3No suitably experienced and qualified Electrical Contractors to undertake Electrical Rewiring as required to the Councils domestic properties. The works will be undertaken throughout East Dunbartonshire which includes areas such as Kirkintilloch, Bishopbriggs, Milngavie and Bearsden. The works generally comprise the full rewiring of individual dwellings but may on occasions consist of partial rewires and/or upgrades

Renewal: The contract will have the option to extend, subject to satisfactory performance review and continual requirement for a further period of 12 months

Electrical Repairs & Maintenance

East Dunbartonshire Council (EDC) is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Electrical Contractor to undertake Electrical Repairs & Maintenance as required to the Councils housing and non-housing properties. The works will be undertaken throughout East Dunbartonshire which includes areas such as Kirkintilloch, Bishopbriggs, Milngavie and Bearsden. The works generally comprise the reactive Repairs & Maintenance of electrical installations (or parts thereof)in properties such as housing, schools, libraries, corporate buildings, etc. There may also be some planned works to be carried out during school holiday periods.

Renewal: The contract will have the option to extend, subject to satisfactory performance review and continual requirement for one further period of 12 months
