### Lot Information

Lot 1

The following is a summary of the type of services which may be required under the contract: 1.Critical cover of Servers 2.On-going maintenance of ICT systems and identification of potential faults. 3.Regular servicing to preempt any problems, applying patches, attending KHA premises as necessary 4.Provide advice and recommendations on best practice, 5.Upgrade, procurement and configuration of the IT hardware which is usually done by planned system upgrades every 4 - 5 years. 6.Ad-hoc procurement of IT hardware as and when required. 7.Provide all round support services and act as a general systems administrator for creating new users, permissions, email access and general functions, 8.Ensure continuous access to internet and internal and external emails working efficiently 9.Maintain the system integrity against viruses and other attack; advise and assist with the security of our infrastructure 10.Support service agreement for infrastructure, server software, network, online and onsite support for servers, Exchange 365, desktops and software, 11.Fully scoped project delivery plan for Knowes' new hardware - including testing. 12.Daily testing of backup and full assistance once a year with backup recovery and business continuity testing 13.Pro-active monitoring of the servers, firewall, network, patches etc. and providing reports on functionality to Knowes senior management 14.Work with all other KHA ICT service providers 15.Provide support for staff remote access 16.Provide day to day support for all ICT issues from KHA staff 17.Future proofing of our ICT systems to ensure they are fit for purpose 18.Other ad-hoc assistance and support with our ICT systems as agreed with Knowes' management team. NOTE: Due to recent software and hardware upgrades it is no expected that new software or hardware will be required over the two year period of the initial contract and unlikely within the optional years if the contract is extended.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulations 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Options: There is a possibility that adhoc software may be required over the five years maximum period of the contract.

Renewal: Option for a further maximum period of three years or any variation within this period.
