The University is awarding contract for an efficient and high quality inspection and licensed/accredited window cleaning service conducted in an environmentally friendly manner utilising best practice means while complying with all relevant regulations under UK law, whilst not entailing excessive cost. The tender is divided into 3 lots: -Lot 1: single supplier for scheduled Annual Internal and External Window Cleaning Services for 48 academic and academic-related buildings, varying in size and number of floors; -Lot 2: 'Emergency' or reactive window cleaning works (for academic/academic related buildings), and for ground floor window and entrance cleaning services in academic/academic related buildings as required, but within a time period of 24 hours after due notice is given, and will be organised in a ranked Framework agreement with three suppliers; -Lot 3: single supplier for scheduled external window cleaning service provision to halls of residence, carried out twice a year, and varying in size and number of floors. This will include external panels between some of the windows, and will include occasional reactive cleaning works on an ad hoc basis, normally within 24 hours after due notice is given.

Renewal: All lots are estimated to run for a period of 3 years commencing 1st August 2018 with the option to extend for a further twelve (12) month period, subject to satisfactory annual review and mutual agreement.
