The works shall include for the supply of a new bi-directional weighbridge (18x3m), weighbridge ramps, driver operated consoles, traffic signals, automated barrier gates, video capture system and in-station control software. The Contractor shall be responsible for the complete integration of the above items to provide a fully operational weighbridge solution. The works shall include for any design works required in relation to the installation of the weighbridge and associated items, including, but not limited to, removal of existing weighbridge and control cabin, installation of a temporary weighbridge support structure and control cabin, new weighbridge support structure, surfacing, road marking, kerbing, ducting, drainage and signing. The Contractor will be also be responsible for providing temporary access to the Walker Road Recycling Centre for the duration of the works.
