## Summary

The Energy Saving Trust Ltd is currently conducting a public procurement process titled "Provision of HES Advice Centre Services," which falls under the environmental protection industry category. This procurement aims to appoint contractors to manage five advice centres in the Home Energy Scotland (HES) network across various regions of Scotland, starting from 1st April 2019. The tender, which is in the active stage, employs an open procedure method, and tender submissions are due by 28th September 2018 at noon. The contract period extends to three years with a potential for two additional one-year extensions, and the total estimated value of the network is approximately £16 million (excluding VAT).

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses engaged in energy efficiency and environmental services, especially those with experience in operating similar advice centres or providing related services. Companies that can offer additional services, such as extended hours coverage and community engagement, would be particularly well-suited to compete for one or two of the five available lots. With the expected annual budget allocation for each region varying from £0.8 million to £1.4 million (excluding VAT), businesses should consider participating to expand their market presence in Scotland’s energy advisory sector.
