## Summary

The procurement process involves Trust Housing Association Ltd., located in Edinburgh, UK, which is seeking to establish a framework agreement for the supply and installation of new windows across its housing stock from July 2018 to 2021. This open tender, titled "Trust H.A. Framework for Window Replacements: 2018-2021," is currently in the award stage, having completed with the signing of contracts on 26 October 2018. The successful suppliers include Sidey Solutions Limited, CMS Window Systems, and Walker Profiles Ltd., who will fulfil the requirements of the contract primarily within the housing and community amenities category, with the pilot project sites located in Edinburgh and Inverness.

This tender creates significant opportunities for businesses specialising in window installation and related works, particularly those able to demonstrate experience in housing environments. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are especially well-suited, as Trust Housing Association intends to select up to three contractors based on competitive pricing and quality. With various contracts potentially arising under this framework agreement, businesses that can meet the necessary insurance and qualification criteria stand to benefit from ongoing work, making it an attractive prospect for contractors aiming to expand their portfolio in public sector projects.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Trust Housing Association Ltd. intends to enter into a Framework Agreement with up to three Contractors for the supply and installation of new windows and associated works within its' housing stock for a three-year period commencing July 2018. The Client will reserve the right to extend the agreement thereafter for an additional period of 12 months. It is envisaged that the three Contractors scoring highest following the overall price and quality evaluation will be appointed to the Framework. It is the intention of Trust Housing Association that all work orders raised under this Framework Agreement will be allocated to the bidder most competitive on price and quality overall, who will thereafter be designated as the 'Preferred Contractor'. The bidders finishing in 2nd and 3rd place overall following the tender evaluation process shall be appointed to the Framework in these positions in a 'back-up' capacity in the event that the Preferred Contractor does not perform to the required standards or have the capacity to complete works within the Client's timescales at any point over the course of the Framework Agreement. Should this situation arise, the client reserves the right to utilise the other Framework Contractors to complete any non-performing Contractor's works orders. Notwithstanding the above, appointment to the framework does not guarantee that orders will be placed with any provider.

Renewal: The Association reserves the right to extend the framework agreement by a further 12 month period.
