### Lot Information

Lot 1

A single view of each property and each allocation area is key to Stirling Council's future housing strategy. A key strategic objective for Stirling Council is to "Create more affordable housing and social housing in all of our communities. Lead by example as an organisation in setting exceptional standards in building practice, environmental practice, employer practice, tenant relations and homelessness prevention". By better understanding our housing stock, its true costs and the mechanisms we use to manage it, the Council could adapt or redesign our Services to meet and exceed expectations. Consequent, efficiency savings are likely to allow our employees to focus on better serving our customers. The Council also has a wider issue with data, intelligence, and the capacity to develop management information that is meaningful and can influence organisational strategy. This would ultimately allow us to tailor services to fit with customer needs and expectations, statutory responsibilities and the ambitions for Stirling Council Tenants. In order to meet these challenges Stirling Council's aspiration is that any solution we initially develop should be capable of being enhanced further to provide management information that meets the wider ambitions of the organisation and its stakeholders. Stirling Council is also working to more closely align its services to the different needs of its citizens, visitors, businesses in an urban and rural environment. What the Challenge Sponsor would like to see from the solution:improved information on the maintenance and capital investment requirements of our capital asset which; * improved outcomes for services users (with an initial focus on social housing tenants); * the development of better services, processes and procedures; * A tool which support proactive decision making on maintenance and investment * reduction in cost to manage housing stock;.
