Fife Council's current Health & Social Care case management IT system 'SWIFT' has been in place within Fife Council since the early 2000's. It was provided and supported in the latter years by Northgate Information Systems Ltd and is well established within Fife. Customised for Fife's Health & Social Care, Children & Families and Criminal Justice Service's needs, and integrates with other systems including our Total Mobile solution for Care at Home service provision since the first quarter of 2017. Northgate advised of the de-commission of the product which then forced the need to go to market for a new product with an implementation timescale of 2020. However, in May 2017 OLM bought over the product and became the new supplier which has meant that the urgency to replace the current product has reduced, but Fife Council are still proceeding with replacing the SWIFT IT system.
