## Summary

The Rural Stirling Housing Association, based in Doune, has initiated a procurement process for the RSHA Grounds Maintenance Framework, which spans from August 2018 to March 2022. This public procurement falls under the services category, specifically focusing on housing and community amenities. The open tender method is employed, with a bidding period that concluded on 16 July 2018, followed by an award announcement. The framework allows for up to three contractors to provide routine and reactive grounds maintenance across approximately 560 properties in rural Stirlingshire.

This tender presents significant opportunities for companies specialising in grounds maintenance, landscaping, and property management. Small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and larger firms that can demonstrate relevant experience and meet specific contractual criteria are encouraged to engage. With an emphasis on community benefits, contractors must commit to delivering at least 20 Community Benefit Points, making this an attractive prospect for businesses looking to enhance their profile while contributing positively to the local community.

## Notice

It is Rural Stirling Housing Association's intention to enter into a Framework Agreement with up to three Contractors in order to carry out routine maintenance and reactive repairs as may be necessary to hard and soft landscaped areas at the Association's housing stock located throughout the rural Stirlingshire area commencing on a mutually agreed date in August 2018 until 31st March 2022. It is the Association's intention that the Bidder achieving the highest combined score following the price and quality assessment will be deemed the Preferred Contractor and will carry out the works in full, based on the rates contained within the Tender. Should the Preferred Contractor fail to perform to a satisfactory level then subsequent works will be offered to the contractor who is ranked second. This process will continue with the third placed contractor if the second placed contractor cannot commit to the works (nor perform to the required standard).
