## Summary

The Scottish Rural University College (SRUC) is initiating a tender for Veterinary & Diagnostic Services related to Gill Health in Scottish farmed salmon. This procurement falls within the education, research, and consultancy industry category, and is taking place in Edinburgh, UK. The open procedure tender process is currently active, with a bid submission deadline of 31 July 2018. The potential contract, valued at approximately £467,000, is aimed at subcontracting specialist expertise over a period of three years to support critical research on Complex Gill Disease (CGD) affecting salmon.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in veterinary services, fish disease diagnostics, and related consultancy services, particularly those with experience in aquaculture. Companies with capabilities in quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) analysis, gill histopathology, and serum biochemistry would be well-suited to compete. Participation in this project not only aids in advancing research in a vital area of the aquaculture sector but also positions successful bidders to strengthen their market presence and foster partnerships within the industry.
