### Lot Information

Lot 1

HIAL's airports are operated in accordance with the regulatory standards of statutory bodies including the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Department of Transport (DoT), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA). The Inverness Drainage Scheme works are required in response to recent failures to meet discharge limit criteria required by SEPA, at discharge points on the Inverness Airport airfield. The first step of the scheme is to ensure that all de-iced areas are connected to the existing drainage treatment system. This is the scope of this particular tender. The subsequent phase, the larger package of works, introduces automated sampling which will direct the effluent to a pumped final outfall if it meets the required cleanliness standard or will recirculate it through the swales for further treatment. Existing swales will be enlarged to increase storage capacity, and all swales both new and existing will be lined. Outline Scope: - Installation of new filter drains along Golf taxiway and ALPHA Hold - Connect North Apron to adjacent Swale - Works associated with existing and new manholes - Create new swale for Apron runoff
