Lot 1

West Dunbartonshire Council seeks to appoint a Consultant / Contractor to carry out surveys on the Quay Walls in the EXXON site, Bowling. The consultant / contractor will be required to survey and investigate the condition of the walls providing recommendations and budget for any repair works considered necessary. Additionally, the consultant / contractor will assess the expected serviceable life expectancy of the quay walls. Base activities the Consultant will be required to carry out are as follow: 1. Topographical survey of structures 2. Structural survey of structures: a. Vertical settlement and verticality b. Condition of structural materials above and below waterline, visual and integrity 3.Assess from the above survey results, borehole records, and record drawings /papers the structures existing condition and reasonable future capacity /usage along with budget for any remedial work required to retain structures in safe and functional condition. This may or may not involve options. 4.Complete report to West Dunbartonshire Council including but not limited to the following: a.Survey data b.Assessment of existing condition of structures c.Recommendation as to any works required to make structures safe and serviceable with associated budget. d.Assessment of future serviceable life of structures. e.Future maintenance requirements of structures. This is not an exhaustive list activities that may require to be carried out to achieve the project objective.
