### Lot Information

Lot 1

Police Scotland have a requirement for a contractor to provide a Disposal and Recycling Service for its Redundant ICT and Waste Electrical Equipment (WEEE). Over a four year period it is expected we would replace the entire desktop estate which is estimated at 16,000 desktops and laptops. On top of this, Police Scotland also have Business as Usual activities that require ICT and Waste Electrical equipment to be disposed of and recycled in accordance with the legislation. Article 20 of the EU public procurement directive allows public bodies to reserve public contracts for Supported Businesses and Supported Employment Programmes for the integration of disabled or disadvantaged persons. This is enacted in Scotland by Regulation 21 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and a public body can make use of these regulations to reserve the tendering process for goods or services to Supported Businesses and Supported Employment Programmes only. The Scottish Police Authority intends that this invitation to tender be reserved under article 20 (Regulation 21 of Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations) to supported businesses only.

Renewal: Initial Contract period of 24 months with option to extend by two periods of 12 months giving a maximum contract period of 48 months.
