### Procurement Information

The only Global Screening Arrays that can be used on the Illumina NextSeq 500 System are those manufactured by Illumina. Because of the volume of these that the University of Dundee are committed to purchasing over the next few years (max 4), they qualify to purchase them from Life & Brain, an authorised Illumina Reseller, who have access to preferential pricing for these products, because of the fact that they purchase hundreds of thousands of these products each year and because they are an original member of the Global Screening Array Consortium. The University cannot access this pricing by purchasing directly from Illumina (as confirmed by Illumina themselves).
