## Notice

The principal objective of this tender is to procure a framework of contractors who will provide reactive repairs and small works contract to various tenanted properties in the Whiteinch and Scotstoun districts of Glasgow. A single contractor will be appointed to each lot. There are 5 Lots: Lot 1-Joinery; Lot 2- Plumbing; Lot 3-Electrical, Lot 4-Multi Trade General Contractor and Lot 5-Out of Hours Multi Trade. The Multi Trade General Contractor is the largest Lot and this contractor will carry out all aspects of general builderswork reactive maintenance however, the joinery, plumbing and electrical trades works will be limited to supporting the single trades contractors when they are unable to carryout their workload. The out of hours contractor will carry out joinery, plumbing and electrical works on an emergency call out basis to make safe. Repair works will only be carried out where this can be done in the same visit.

Joinery works to be carried out in normal working hours; generally 8.00am to 5.00pm with late Wednesday evening working to 8.00pm and Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12 noon. Basis of pricing is a Schedule of Rates. Further information is contained within the draft Invitation to Tender documents.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: May take up option to extend the contract for any further variable periods up to a maximum of two years.

Plumbing and Simple Drainage

Plumbing and Minor Damage Works to be carried out in normal working hours; generally 8.00am to 5.00pm with late Wednesday evening working to 8.00pm and Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12 noon. Basis of pricing is a Schedule of Rates. Further information in contained within the draft Invitation to Tender documents.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Multi Trade General Builder; roof repairs, blacksmith, internal wall tiling, painting, plastering, slab laying, masonry and brickwork, joinery, electrical and plumbing works

General multi trade reactive maintenance works. NOTE: The joinery, plumbing and electrical requirements of the General Trades contractor will be limited to acting as a back up contractor when the single trades contractors who will be appointed under Lots 1,2 and 3 of the Framework are unavailable to carry out these works. The works are to be carried out in normal working hours; generally 8.00am to 5.00pm with late Wednesday evening working to 8.00pm and Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12 noon. Multi Trade Contractor: Out of Hours Works

Out of Hours reactive maintenance work comprising mainly joinery, electrical and plumbing works of an emergency nature and also roofing, door entry and aerial repair works. The requirement is mainly to make safe and repair if possible during the visit. If the repair work is not possible during the emergency call out these will be carried out by the individual trades contractor appointed under Lots 1,2 or 3 of this framework. Normal working hours are generally 8.00am to 5.00pm with late Wednesday evening working to 8.00pm and Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12 noon. However, over longer office closure periods such as Christmas and New Year the Out of Hours contractor will be required to return after make safe works and carry out full repairs. The Out of Hours contractor must have a single point of contact outwith office hours, tradesman's mobile numbers will not be accepted as adequate. Basis of pricing is a Schedule of Rates. Electrical and associated reactive maintenance works to occupied tenanted properties and common areas. Works to be carried out in normal working hours; generally 8.00am to 5.00pm with late Wednesday evening working to 8.00pm and Saturday mornings 8.00am to 12 noon.
