Lot 1

The contract involves the following works: dredging; construction of a retaining wall; use of dredged material to form hardstanding area for boat storage and marine-related uses; construction of a breakwater, a slipway and a boat lift structure; foul drainage; utility services; demolition of 2 No. small boatsheds. The following items will be contractor-designed: retaining wall, cathodic protection, foul drainage pumping, rock sockets and pile toe details. Design and installation of the pontoons and associated equipment will be procured through a separate contract and installed towards the end of the civil engineering works. The civil engineering contractor will be required to act as Principal Contractor for the pontoon installation and utility connections..
