## Summary

The Scotland Excel framework for "Energy Advice" facilitates bespoke in-home energy support to householders across various local authorities in Scotland. As part of an open procurement method, this initiative is presently in the award stage, having been initiated on 26 September 2018, with a tender period closing on 29 October 2018. The framework's total budget is £4 million, covering multiple geographical lots across Scotland, aimed at helping local authorities and their associate members ensure energy efficiency for residents.

This framework will provide a mechanism for Local Authorities and Associate Members to provide bespoke in-home Energy Advice to householders within their catchment area. The service will include but is not limited to providing advocacy advice with utility providers, ensuring metering issues are dealt with, ensure householders have an understanding of optimum heating regimes and householders are on the best tariff with utility providers. The framework will be awarded on a geographical basis, with the Tenderer bidding for local authority areas which are referred to as "Geographical Lots". Each of these lots will represent the entire authority area. The Tenderer can bid for one, any or all Lots without penalty.. Renewal: The framework agreement will run for an initial 36 month period with the option to extend for up to an additional 12 month period.
