### Lot Information

Lot 1

The works comprise the following activities: Levelling, grading, trimming and final preparation of existing ground surface to form a suitably smooth, firm and dry receiving surface for the geosynthetics and ensure runoff thereafter away from the waste. Placement of a 150mm thick sand regulating layer to those areas of existing ground level which remain irregular following trimming and preparation. Placement of Employer-supplied 800 gsm non-woven protection geotextile - manufacturer and product TBC. Placement of Employer-supplied GRI-GCL3 compliant Geosynthetic clay (GCL). Manufacturer and product TBC. Placement of Employer-supplied proprietary drainage geocomposite immediately above the GCL. Placement of 325mm Employer-supplied digestate on the drainage geocomposite, followed by 325mm of Employer-supplied peat. Application of temporary protective sheeting to exposed geosynthetics (not covered by peat or digestate to prevent unconfined hydration of the GCL. Seeding (via hydromulching) of final surface. Trenchless installation of 110mm duct with end caps and drawstrings under the existing bituminous haul road in the north part of Cell1C (location to be agreed with Employer). Repair of 90mm gas collection pipe accidentally broken during excavation of trench on south side of Cell1C. Survey at each stage in order to supply as-built panel layouts for each of the geosynthetic layers. The whole of the works shall be completed within a period of 7 weeks from the access date.
