## Summary

The Energy Saving Trust Ltd is initiating a procurement process titled "Plugged-In Households," aimed at the environmental protection industry sector. This tender will open for applications on 19 October 2018, with a deadline for submissions set for 19 December 2018. The procurement, classified under services, is focused on engaging accredited car club operators to provide a 100% electric vehicle car club service for not-for-profit housing associations and cooperatives located across Scotland. Interested parties can participate in workshops from 22 October in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Inverness, which will provide further insights and details regarding the application process and criteria.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses operating within the electric vehicle and car club service sectors, particularly those that are accredited and can offer comprehensive car club solutions. Not-for-profit housing associations and cooperatives looking for sustainable transportation options for their residents stand to benefit immensely from engaging with these services. Companies capable of delivering full back-office support, vehicle provision, and membership incentives are well-positioned to compete for grant funding and contribute to the success of this initiative, thereby enhancing their market presence and driving business growth.

## Notice

With funding from the Scottish Government, Energy Saving Trust is launching a new grant fund in October 2018, Plugged-in Households. This grant fund will be available for not-for-profit housing associations and cooperatives based in Scotland, to procure the services of a zero-emission vehicle car club which will be available for their residents and the wider community to use.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

The car club operator must be accredited and provide the full car club service, including vehicle provision and all back-office services including booking system, membership and data on usage. The vehicle/s must be 100% electric, Plug-in Hybrid electric vehicles are not eligible, and the car club operator must commit to having the vehicle in operation after delivery, for 12months. Housing associations and cooperatives across Scotland will be invited to contact as many different car club operators as they choose to find the service they require, before submitting a bid for grant funding. The bid will need to specify which operator they have chosen and the reasons why, along with a detailed cost breakdown of what the funding will be used for. Funding should cover: - The vehicle for 12 months. - The car club service for 12 months. - Membership deals for residents. - Other incentives for residents. Funding does not need to cover: - The charge point. Plugged-in Households will open applications to the scheme on 19 October 2018, and the deadline for applications will be 19 December 2018. Energy Saving Trust are running workshops throughout the week of 22 October in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness to introduce the scheme and give housing associations and cooperatives the chance to find out more. Energy Saving Trust would like to extend this invite to accredited car club operators too. Along with the application forms going live in October, Energy Saving Trust will release a guidance document for housing associations and cooperatives in Scotland to refer to. In this document we will list all accredited car club operators who have expressed an interest in this scheme. Energy Saving Trust will also encourage applicants to do their own research to identify other operators if they choose. If you are an accredited car club operator who is interested in either attending the workshops, or being listed on the guidance documentation, please email pluggedinhouseholds@est.org.uk..
