The Scottish Prison Service encourages contractors to consider community benefits such as employment opportunities for apprenticeships and engagement with local enterprises, thereby enhancing the socio-economic impact of the project. Firms with a proven track record of delivering complex builds within stringent budgetary and health & safety requirements will be well-positioned to compete effectively in this tender process.
