## Notice

This is a Contract Award Notice and as such the procurement process has now ended. An Lochran is a multi-occupied site within the Inverness Campus, under shared ownership between Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) and The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI). The site is the main office for HIE as well as an important base for UHI's academic and research activities. Scottish Rural College (SRUC) is also a tenant within the building. This contract will be managed by HIE on behalf of other occupiers UHI and SRUC. The current facilities management requirements for An Lochran are divided into 3 Lots: - Lot 1: Cleaning Services - Lot 2: Reception and Security Services - Lot 3: Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance This particular contract relates to Lot 1.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

HIE required a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to provide the following requirements, whilst offering best value in the expenditure of public funds: - Cleaning and housekeeping - Day and reactive cleaning - External cleaning - Window cleaning - Legionella control - Health and Safety and Sustainability - Contract management This contract will be let from 1 April 2019 for an initial period of 3 years, with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Options: HIE reserves the right, on giving reasonable written notice from time to time, to require changes to the Services (whether by way of the removal of Services, the addition of new Services, or increasing or decreasing the Services or specifying the order in which the Services are to be performed). HIE shall not require any such change other than where it is permitted by Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Examples of contract modifications can include (but are not limited to): -Re-assignation and/or re-design of areas require different type of cleaning -New areas of the building added to the contract's scope and/or current areas of the building taken out of the scope of contract -Frequency of periodic cleans, if heavier usage/accidents require it -Exterior of the building requires cleaning further cleaning e.g. if resources in addition to the cleaning staff on site are required; specialist equipment is required. -Reactive cleaning, if in addition to task 2 Day and Reactive cleaning is required due to accidents, events etc

Renewal: The Contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term.
