Additionally, agencies that can showcase an understanding of the Scottish market dynamics and cultural context will have a competitive advantage in this procurement process. ## Notice ScotRail is looking for a leading communications planning agency to source and deliver a new partnership for the supply of Media Planning & Buying Services that reflects a full range of media planning and buying capabilities underpinned by flexible, reliable, cost effective and customer focused service. ### Lot Information Lot 1 Expressions of interest are invited for the tender for the provision of media planning and buying services to ScotRail. The contract will commence in early 2019 and will run until 31st March 2020, with an option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months. Your agency will need to provide: - High quality strategic advice and proposals for the most optimum platforms and advertising/media channel mix to be considered for ScotRail marketing communications activity. - Insight led media schedules which will deliver high performing campaigns at both national (Scotland-wide) and/or regional/local level that offer ScotRail the maximum potential reach, engagement and value. - Deliver monitoring, evaluation, campaign analysis and reporting pre, during and post any campaign activity. These media services will be for both proactive and reactive activity and will include, but are not limited to, campaign/advertising activities across all key digital and broadcast channels. The winning tender will work in partnership with ScotRail marketing and communications teams as the primary contact, but will also be able to maintain and manage relationships and work independently with other departments who are considering an advertising media schedule to deliver either proactive and/or reactive communications activity. The supplier will be expected to provide a number of value added services to ScotRail including: - Industry-specific market analysis, updates and advice and provision of information including competitor monitoring, consumer, industry and channel analysis and insight - Reporting (pre, during and post campaign/advertising analysis activity) - Dedicated Account Manager and Senior Management input. - Strategic Portfolio planning and development. - Planning, buying and management of all media proposed - Optimisation and management including set up of campaigns activity. - Management of ScotRail account, including all meetings, travel and expenses in the servicing of the account. - You will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the Scottish culture, its people, its economic landscape and future opportunities..
